Regarding Body Blocking (Source)

After our latest major patch, we’ve seen concerns about the way that body blocking is currently functioning in-game, and whether or not some of the changes players have recently encountered are intended.

As mentioned previously, we are working to overhaul body blocking. However, these changes are primarily meant to work behind the scenes, and you generally shouldn’t notice a difference in gameplay. To be clear, we don’t want to eliminate opportunities to body block or fundamentally change how body blocking works in Heroes of the Storm.

We’ve seen players bring up concerns about some specific scenarios, and wanted to provide answers for a few of those questions:

  • Enemies trapped in Leoric’s Entomb should not be able to escape by pushing him out of the way.
  • Mosh Pit, Ravenous Spirit, and other channeled spells should not be interrupted when another player simply runs into the spell’s caster.
  • Misha, Monstrosity, and other Summons should not be body blocked by allied Minions.

Body blocking should generally work just as it has in the past, and some of the issues you may see in relation to body blocking (such as those listed above) are bugs. Thank you to everyone who sent bug reports our way. We’re working hard to get any unintended body blocking behavior fixed as soon as possible, and will let you know once a fix is ready for release.
