(English) The builds are now live on Psionic Storm !

Announced long ago, here they are – the builds – on Psionic Storm! To create and share your builds, first sign in with a Psionic account, or via Facebook or Google.

You can already check out DIG Mene’s mage builds [Mene’s profile]… and from other authors more or less pros 🙂

The builds are meant to be very intuitive to use and we hope you will adopt them .

Multi-builds

A build post is a container that can store several talent selections to manage some variations (standard build, situational, fun, …). The description is unique for the post. For each selection, a hero video skin and extra fields (see below) can be chosen.

Edition

Prepare your builds in private before publication, in draft mode. It can then be shared to everyone by publishing it. A published post can be archived to put it back in private. All your builds can be accessed from your profile page.

A customized editor allows you to select abilities and talents in the description, or to embed videos (youtube at the moment).

Actions

Build posts can be voted, commented, marked as faves, and the views are counted. The search can currently filter by hero and order by date, comments, views, votes. Other features will come later. Your fave builds can be reached from your profile page.

Patches

Builds can become outdated quickly as the game constantly evolves. But Psionic detects any change of version and possibly informs about the reworks.

Multi-languages

A build can be edited in several languages (EN, FR at the moment) under a unique reference! The internationalization is completely automatic for all the main fields: talent selections, categories, battlefields, hero counters. The same build post can then be opened by EN or FR readers without any extra effort from you as author. But it’s not all: the description can be edited separately in EN or FR. For that, switch language in Psionic and edit the build again for each language. This allows you to keep a unique reference for the build for more consistency and audience. Other language may be added in the future.

Extra fields

For each talent selection, some optional fields can be set: categories, battlefields and hero counters (good / bad). These fields give some indications to the reader but they will also be used in the future for the search tool.

Quick builds

It’s possible to switch easily between build and quick build (single selection of talents) from the talent calculator (see the icon under the talent selection). A build can also be opened in the talent calculator to get more details.
